While attracting new business to a community is important, Economic Development realizes the importance of existing businesses and the vital role they play in the local economy. In today’s world, most economic growth is derived from companies that already exist in a community.

The City’s Economic Development Department has an active business visitation program to reach out to our existing businesses. The purpose of this program is to identify issues in the business community before they become serious, discuss expansion plans and incentives, and learn more about the business community at large.
